A personal referral network with your friends, friends of friends and trusted local groups (US only). (AKA a better, more trusted Yelp. Yippee!)

What is a Gem? A gem is someone or something that makes your life easier, better or more fun. Yes its a little retro, a little cute, but saying "service providers you really love" was just to long and boring. So we went with Gems--short, to the point, and makes us think of nice things, like jewelry, and candy.

A Gem of a....
+ pediatrician who gives shots with no tears, and a math tutor who makes them smile
+ vet who treats your dog just right
+ handyman, plumber and electrician who can fix it all
+ spin instructor, hair stylist and colorist who make you feel fantastic

Its quite simple to use:
+ Search, browse, and post questions
+Answer questions from friends in need.
+Check out what your friends are recommending and see their lists of favorite services
Everyone wins.

Key Reasons to Love GemShare:

+ On GemShare you tap the collective wisdom of the people you know and trust without spamming your address book, cluttering your inbox or just relying on same 5 BFFs.

+ This is your own personal referral network --friends, friends of friends and your local groups-- so you know you can trust the information. No anonymous review. No paid reviews. (Really, why should you trust what “buffmuscles25” says about an oral surgeon?)

+ When you post a question the answers are beautifully organized, and easy to find--not lost in an endless feed. So you can find them when you finally get around to making that check-up appointment, or getting that chair reupholstered.

+ You can tap to call or email the service provider right from the app.

+ Free. No Subscription required.

We built GemShare because we wanted to simplify our busy days (and yours) and we were tired of the email threads, phone calls, scattered notes, wondering “who was it who said they knew a good….?”and searching the web for recommendations from total strangers. If we could each just gather our friends best recommendations, the true gems, in one handy, searchable place—how much easier life would be!
